she stilled her resolve

she needed to get away from everything. life, love, friends, family, work.

work.

solitude was a tall order at this point in her life but it was the one thing that she craved. separation from the situation that she had unfortunately found herself in was, ironically, the only thing keeping her there.

she decided that she was going to be a relief teacher for a while in the near future. if absence makes the heart grow fonder then she hoped that a short period of absence would reassure her that the monumental decision that had just been made was the right one. maybe not the right one forever but the right one for now. 

forever would just have to wait it’s turn.
